Here’s a few basic ideas to help you better identify a profile for your potentially most lucrative new customers: Geographically, where do you want your prospects for your telemarketing campaign to be located? You can break this down into Counties, Towns and Postcodes. Are you looking for Companies that only do business with other Companies (B2B) or Companies that only do business with consumers (B2C) or both? What is the most common job title (s) or role (s) of the people that make buying decisions for your particular product or service? Often there may be one particular job title that holds the ultimate decision but don’t forget to think about people within the Company who will be key influencers in that final decision. What types of Companies in terms of industry sectors do you want to target? You may know for example specific SIC codes to narrow your profile. How many employees would your ideal prospect Company have? What turnover band ideally would they fall into? If you are not sure on any of the above your current customer base will give you a good indication of where you need to be concentrating on. |
